Add A PayPal Button To A Page
In order to add a PayPal button to your site, you need to create the button in PayPal, grab the code, and then paste it into either a html module.
There are several different types of buttons that you can create in PayPal. Here’s the documentation on PayPal website on how to create a “Buy Now” button. This is the most commonly used button for prepaying for a therapy service. The documentation on the PayPal website will also show you where to grab the code.
Once you have created your button and grabbed the code, navigate to the page that you would like to insert the button.
After activating the page builder for the page, select the HTML module from the “Basic Modules” and drag it into your page where you would like your button to appear.
Paste your button code into the html module. You will see your button appear on the page.
After you save the module and page, make sure to test your button. If you click on the button, it should take you to your payment page. A good way to confirm if it’s the right one is to see if it has your business name as well as the correct value for the rate.
Additional Tip: It’s good practice to also add some copy in addition to the button. We suggest adding:
- The description of the item including what the session is and how long it is.
- The price
- A note about being redirected to a new page to complete payment (don’t surprise people)
You may use the example below to guide you. Feel free to copy the language and layout exactly.
